TRAVEL

The surgery offers a limited travel immunisation service. 

If you plan to travel and wish advice and vaccines then please complete the travel questionnaire and view the pricelist; hand your completed form in to the surgery reception at least 6 WEEKS in advance of your proposed travel dates. Nurse will then be able to research your needs and then contact you with the relevant information.

 

The following vaccines are available on the NHS

Cholera

Hepititis A

Paratyphoid

Poliomyelitis

Smallpox

Typhoid

Any other vaccine outwith the above will need to be obtained from a Travel Clinic.

Remember this service not available if your travel dates are less than 6 weeks.  In addition to the time required for nurse to research your needs, some vaccines require a period of time to become effective after you receive them.

If your planned trip is less than 6 weeks away then you will be required to obtain all vaccines from a Travel Clinic.
